Su has had a lifelong passion for figurative art. She sold her first portrait drawing when she was 14 years old and painted her first mural at 18 years old.
Su studied Art and Design at Salford College's Adelphi Annexe (now known as the New Adelphi) and after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA (hons) in History of Art, Design and Film, she specialised in film production, furthering her studies at The National School of Film and Television. Su went on to work as editorial assistant in the film industry for directors including Michael Winterbottom (Welcome to Sarajevo,) and Tim Burton (Sleepy Hollow). She has subsequently made props for film and television, most recently for Wonder Woman II.
Su's natural ability and love of drawing and painting led her to focus more on portaiture and figurative art. In addition to private commissions and commercial project work, Su also works as an art tutor teaching portraiture techniques to small groups, as well as private art tutoring on a 1:1 basis.
For any enquiries, Su can be contacted directly here and is happy to discuss any project ideas or bespoke tutoring arrangements without obligation. All portraits and murals are unique and therefore all prices are individual and are based on size, medium, technique, and complexity. These factors can all be negotiated and tailored to suit a specific budget or time frame.

This banner, commissioned by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, was almost ten metres long.
The letters were scaled up from a dry transfer lettering kit and modified into the Cyrillic alphabet.
Each letter was then drawn out and painted by hand.
