Commissioned by a private client, the floor-to-ceiling mural thoroughly transformed this spacious bathroom into a relaxing tropical oasis. Su liaised closely with the client to create a design and colour palette which could use up a variety of Farrow and Ball sample pots which the client already had. This paint range was entirely vegan and environmentally friendly.

Tring, Hertfordshire
Situated along the footpath off Park Street and continuing on the bridge over the A41. Su worked on this as second painter to the project manager, producing a vintage style sign and various butterflies, flowers and insects.
These spot murals were painted directly on to the wall, pavement and steps and were coated in a weatherproof anti-graffiti varnish for a durable finish.

Impossible Bar, York
Located in a new development adjacent to the original Terry's chocolate shop , this mural spans more than 18 metres in length and around 3.5 metres in height. Beauty Salon, Ripley
Su worked as second painter to the project manager, creating a skyscape on two ceilings, replete with vividly colourful parrots.
Kitchen Mural and Makeover
Private client, Herefordshire
The entire farmhouse kitchen and dining area was completely revamped by Su to freshen up the overall look and give it a more contemporary feel.
Handcrafted cupboards and drawer units were repainted with Farrow and Ball's 'Down Pipe' in Estate Eggshell. Burns and scratches in the worktop were sanded, filled and then painted to disguise the repair, before the whole surface was re-oiled. For the finishing touch, a mural of two hanging planters was added to embellish a blank wall and create a feature to lend balance to the general distribution of colour. The patterns on the planters were designed to echo the patterns on the existing tiles and to tie in with the new colour scheme.
The Cedars Mural
High Street, Uxbridge
The artwork, situated on The Cedars, a grade II listed building, represents various Uxbridge landmarks plus local benefactor Kate Fassnidge.
It was commissioned by Hillingdon Council in celebration of Uxbridge's close links with textile printing and the Arts and Crafts Movement.
Su worked on this mural for three weeks, as one of a core team of subcontracted artists.

Arabian Playspace Diorama
scale 1:45, commissioned by Timberplay UK
A handmade exhibition piece incorporating replicas of playground equipment manufactured by Richter Spielgeräte and distributed worldwide by Timberplay.
The various play elements were set in a sand and grass environment with tropical planting to give a middle-eastern feel. The overall look was one of the play area having just been used, e.g. hollows in the sand where tiny bottoms may have landed; just-pumped water cascading down the guttering; divots in the sand made by tiny running feet...
This diorama was then set in a perspex and oak display case, ready to travel to national exhibition events up and down the UK. The dimensions of the entire model matched Summer Playspace Diorama (below) so that they could be interchanged on plinths or exhibited together if required.

"an amazing experience"
"Working with Studio Mayer was an amazing experience. The effort Su took to understand what we were trying to achieve was very impressive. Timberplay have built their reputation on delivering hand crafted play products of exceptional quality, and we needed our model to reflect this. We could not have worked with a better partner, the detail within the model is second to none and certainly achieves the aim of drawing people to our exhibition stand. I would have no qualms in recommending Studio Mayer for any creative projects.”
